Kathryn Jankowski is an award-winning author* from Northern California who writes fantasy based on world myths and legend. She has reported for local and national media, taught inner-city children, and helped maintain parks.

When she’s not writing, reading, or watching movies, Kathryn enjoys the serenity of her garden. Her daily brain food is The New York Times’ crossword puzzle, and the best days are when she finishes without looking up any answers.

Kathryn loves accordions and owns a vintage Delarosa from Italy, where she once spent a rainy December in an unheated attic guestroom. If she ran the world, every town would have a state-of-the-art library, and at least one café stocked with board games, free to all.
